BLOCKCHAIN AND CRYPTOCURRENCY
Blake Rizzo is also the Charity Affairs Advisor for the Tour De Crypto and the Associate Director of the newly-formed Houston Blockchain Alliance.
The Tour De Crypto started their first annual cycling road trip across the U.S. in 2018 to raise cryptocurrency awareness for charity. The mission of the Tour is to connect charities and donors with cryptocurrencies by educating charity organizers and the general population on the benefits of using the blockchain and cryptocurrencies for donations. Mr. Rizzo manages all aspects of the Tour and works directly with charity organizations to educate them on the cryptocurrency and blockchain space. By doing this, Mr. Rizzo teaches charitable organizations how they can use the blockchain to directly receive 100% of the donations from cryptocurrency users.
During their first Tour, Mr. Rizzo was able to obtain significant sponsorships and partners, including, among others, Mr. Ronnie Moas, World Crypto Con and Global Boost. The goal of the inaugural Tour is to raise $1 million in cryptocurrency for the Houston Area Women’s Center.
