Washington Elite Ice Skaters Earn Top Scores at Central Virginia Skating Club Test Session
It was a warm sunny day as the Washington Elite Ice Skaters returned for the second day of testing at the Richmond Ice Zone. After a successful first day of test Sergey Korovin, Emme Porter and Bruce Porter, Jr. were expecting top results. Briana O’hanlon started off the day with an exciting freestyle program for critique with the new IJS judging system. Special Congratulations to Paige Warner for passing her novice moves in the field and Eva Shuman for passing all four of her tests including moves in the field and ice dancing. Washington Elite Ice Skaters find success at the Richmond Ice Zone Testing Session
The Washington Elite ice skaters made the trip to Virginia’s capital of Richmond this week to test their ice skating skills. The Richmond Figure Skating Club is hosting the two day event held at the Richmond Ice Zone that covers everything from moves in the field to ice dancing and freestyle. The Washington Elite ice skaters performed brilliantly on the first day of tests passing 6 of the 7 test presented. Special congratulations to Briana O’Hanlon and Kathleen Chubb for their continued success in the sport of ice dancing. The athletes made sure to get a good nights sleep as today they again converge at the Richmond Ice Zone to presents the judges with freestyle skating and juvenile, intermediate, novice and junior moves in the field.
